So I went out with RYHAK on a boat in San Pedro and we scored big on Yellow Fin Tuna.. I had a buddy show me how to make these tuna shooters and damn they were good. It's a great appetizer or something great to make on the boat while out fishing if you have all the stuff.. I haven't tried it but I imagine it would taste just fine with bonita if the fish is kept cold, and bled. Definitely would be great with Yellowtail. These were made with Yellow Fin Tuna.
1) grab a shot glass
2) add about a tablespoon of ponzu sauce
3) add a good size pinch of daikon radish
4) dice up some tuna, just little squares and put on top of the daikon.
5) add a pinch of fresh ginger
6) add a tiny bit of wasabi
7) add some diced green onions

just throw it back like a shot of whiskey, all at once, just chew it up, and it is amazing I promise..
