Fish Finder Reviews ???
« on: July 30, 2019, 08:53 PM »
Its that time - my old fish finder couldn't swim and now I need a new one.
Looking at Hook2 split and triple shots, Raymarine, Garmin.  Reviews tend to be all over the map, each with pros and cons.
Is the triple shot worth extra $. Does the side view look good?   Seems Lowrance now charges extra for covers, gimble mounts, and you need to print out your own Manual.
Thank you to anyone who can provide some input from their experience.
Stay right side up and happy fishing.

The triple shot adds another advantage once you get used to it, but it's kinda confusing in the kelp.

Becoming a better waterman and kayaker should be more of a target to focus on than catching fish. The fish will always be around, but will you?

Thanks for replies
I am looking at the Hook2 - 5 inch with triple shot
Trying to find a bundle as now Lowrance breaks out the cover, gimble mount, cable, etc as extra $.
But my first Hook was good.
