Welcome to the site Jason! A ton of great info here. There are quite a few guys from north county. See you out there on the water.

Welcome to the group! It's good to see a fellow San Miguel resident on here. I live up in Mission Heights neighborhood. There is another kayak fishing guy a few blocks away from me  named Chad. I'm sure he'll make himself known. I try to get out as often as possible (once a week as long as the weather is good and I don't have a long to-do list from my wife). You are welcome to tag along ....or just throw your kayak in the back of my truck. Have you kayaked before? Also, have you fished the local waters on a boat? I was in the same boat as you about a year and a half ago. This group will teach you a lot. You also couldn't ask for a better bunch of people. If you have any questions please feel free to ask....or stop by for that matter. The SG 130 is a nice little yak. Congrats on the purchase!
