Title: Landing net? Promar, Frabill, any others?
Post by: fishy_fishy805 on January 04, 2018, 04:44 PM
So on the last trip out in 2017 I rolled and bent my net into a L shape lol
I've been seeing that most guys out there either had a folding type or a huge non folding type like my old , now L shaped, net. I don't have much storage on my kayak so I'd like to get one that is easily stored in the hull through my hatchet opening or just out of the way when launching in surf...my questions are,  what have y'all been using ? I've found promar and Frabill nets online...any of you have a review on these about their durability? Any others I should look at?
-must be 18"
-foldable not collapsible handle
-preferebly around the $20-30 range
Thanks

Honestly in the ocean I almost never except salmon fishing even have my net out, So either one of those mentioned work. I have had the promar folding net for probably half a decade, not even sure if it opens anymore. Have not used the one that I take in the ocean ever.
