Becoming a better waterman and kayaker should be more of a target to focus on than catching fish. The fish will always be around, but will you?

Spots keep opening up at Morro bay SP campground. Spot 82 is available right now if someone can reserve it. It won't let me since I have 2 spots.

That has been one of our goals all along, Ryan and we're stoked you are able to make it this year. You do an awesome job with the CCSD but its cool to be able to participate too. You staying with Bob in his site? If so, we'll be right next door.

I have a busy week coming up with all the final details but luckily I have an awesome team with Andy and Chad (Dogpound and LOpaddler) keeping me on track and picking up the slack. Thank you fellas, couldn't do it without you guys!

Hey Gang! We are officially 1 week away from tourney day! Only 7 short days from hitting MDO and seeing who brings home the win. Will it be CCKF this year or will our brother's from NCKA take it again? Last years overall winner (NCKA) couldn't make it this year due to a college graduation, so its wide open!

Right now the forecast is looking really good, fingers crossed it stays that way. We have been running multiple tours and rentals at the shop this weekend and the conditions have been epic. Nice overcast days and little wind=primo paddling! Last year the wind came up fairly early in Cayucos, I'm hoping that it holds off at least until noon or so, so that we can get a solid 5 to 6 hours of fishing in.

I'll be sending out an email midweek to everyone with all the details for Friday and Saturday. If any of you have questions let me know soon so I can add it to the email and get it out to everyone. You can hit me up here in the thread or PM me.

I'm super pumped for the tournament, the competition, the camaraderie, and hanging with a bunch of you at the campground!

Cheers!
