Man...that is so damn sad. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
I know most of us have gone out alone. It's sort of inevitable with our sport. Try to fish with a buddy. Also, get yourself a physical to make sure everything is ok. Some people go for years without seeing a doctor. I'm not saying any of these things could have saved his life. Sometimes it's just their time. Life is so short and prescious.

On 9.15 dave was out with some buddies off La Jolla when he was found in the water facedown and not responding. He was brought onto a buddies kayak and paddled to shore. Dave is in his 20s and it was suspected to be a heart condition that caused this that he was not aware of yet. It does not sound like he is gonna pull out of this one and will be leaving us for good. They are looking for organ donor recipients now and he has been declared brain dead per doctors according to his father. Please pray for Dave's family, this is sad to hear about, cant imagine.

A gofund me has been set up for Dave's family.

More details from the kayakers that preformed the rescue as well as Dave's father.
Full leaderboard is up on I angler and all photos can be seen on there as well.
figured out the pics... :D how many entrants this year, it looked like a good turnout, and again for a great cause.
Are you going to post pics of the winning fish?
Congratulations on the wins everyone thanks Rayn and Mary even though I didn't fish my daughter and I
 had a great time!!!!
Congrats to the winners and thank you again Ryan (and your little helper during the raffle), Mary, the cooks, the lady organizing the food table and everyone else that helped pull this off again.  This was my 6th SD and its a blast every time.
