Cool tutorials on cleaning lings and rocks
« on: September 15, 2013, 10:13 AM »

A lot of people ask me how I clean fish. Not nearly as good or fast as this guy. New guys watch these for some great pointers. I subscribed to this feed on YOUTUBE.COM . It has some great videos and they show how big lings can really get!

He didn't touch the cheeks and left the pin bones. Those are some nice Alaskan lings though.

I recently cut the cheeks out of a large ling. I haven't eaten them yet but I hear they are great. I think the pin bones can be cut out after when you skin it.

To me those are both parts of cleaning a ling. Who wants a fork full of bones?
I like to gently cook the cheeks in butter in a pan over medium heat and a little salt.
