First Aid Kit Video
« on: March 28, 2015, 03:25 PM »
I have updated my first aid kit, and go through it twice a year, usually midway through the season and once at the start.

Was going through it and decided to put together a video for this one. Probably a little over kill for most, but I kayak in some remote areas with poor cell service and no radio receptions. This is a must in my opinion. Have had guys cut there hand pretty good, and nothing but dirty rags to clean it up. This kit prevents that.

Take what you want from it and build your own.

Here is a list of all the items included in my kit.
Gauze Multi Size, Gauze Compress, Emergency Blanket, Antibiotic Ointment, Trauma Sheers, Duck tape, Compass, Matches, Liquid skin, Water, Cliff bar, Ice pack, Multitool, Chapstick, Aspirin, Benadryl, Ibuprofen, Anti-Diarrheal, Kerlex, Coban, Cat tourniquet, Quikclot, Bolt cutters, Band-Aids.

Please let me know what you think.

Great video and advice!  I'm updating my emergency dry bag with many of the items you show.  My main focus is on cuts/punctures and the like.  Seems to be the most common issues I see.  I'm going to add a reflector of some type as well.

Thanks for the video and information!
