White Sea Bass

Reminiscing on this season since the weather sucks and I haven't been able to get out. Wish I would have put in more miles for these suckers earlier this year, but I'm thankful to have gotten some nice fish during this pretty crazy season.

I need to get one of these next year for sure mark. Let me know when you head out, plus we will be hitting up La Jolla SD sometime next year depending on the reports. I'll let you know when we go.

Hooked into one about the same size yesterday, just outside the break wall at Marina Del Rey. Tossing a 6" Berkley Powerbait swimbait.

Got it right next to the boat, before the swivel came unbuttoned. I didn't have the right gear, obviously. I actually thought the 12 lb leader would break first.

Fun while it lasted...
