Funny he placed third in the other site. the guy who won looked like he did a lot of fresh water fishing as well. Let that be a lesson to us. Do not avoid fresh water.

Still trying to think if I should order hawg trough with a CCKF logo on it...

What do you guys think??? If would up the cost of the year long tournament but still be reasonable plus you get a board to measure your fish keeps the guess work out of it.

I like the Idea of an offical measuring device. Make mine where an inch equals 3 for me.

for next year you should also consider making a rule that the fish has to have a closed mouth. i saw a few fish that would have been an inch or two shorter of what was claimed. closed mouth just makes it more fair for every one whether you meant to or not. i saw it on the nor cal site and i have to agree with its logic.

also we should have a spearfisherman of the year award so i can get publicly owned by andrew.

Not sure about an inch or two, maybe a half inch. I have not found anything in writing saying fish are longer with open mouths. Some states require a tail pinch to get final length and some prohibit it depending on the spiecies, but that is for harvest not a contest. I did find these rules for 321 fish
