Bass have been slow. WON tournament Last Saturday 15 pounds was the winner. Water level way down but still a great lake to fish. Should really pick up then

I'll see if my wife and daughter are down for some camping.

Are there many moter/jet boat knuckleheads on the lake as other places? Do I have to worry about my wife and daughter in a canoe on this lake?

It has no body contact  ;D So there is usually a lot less people skiing and screwwing around.

Plus plenty of coves to explore and fish and bird watch.

Should be around Spring Break since its the week before Easter.

Yeah Plenty should not have an issue with camping at all. I plan on Booking one this weekend near the Marina.

This time of year even Naci isn't crowded with moter/jet boat knuckleheads. I was there today never saw a boat it was glass. We are up the Tablas area of the lake. Town creek is very close to our ramp. Wife has to work Saturday I'm going to try 1st time since I tore my bicep.
Due to current economic conditions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

We have sites booked in the 327-328 area. So try and get them in that area.

Cachuma has some areas that are restricted to motor boats (aka kayak only) probably worth checking out if anyones into bass...not that there are any biggins at cachuma

Was planning on towing the trailer over and camping out but now I have to save my extra funds to get my boat ready for Salmon season opener. I may try to sneak over for the day to fish.
