I realized I voted selfishly I could go either day.  Some guys work Saturday and if I could I'd like to change my vote. Those that want can still camp on sat and try for a striper.

I hope more attend but to be honest its hard to get cckf members to fish fresh water. Catching a 15lb fish on 8lb mono must be to much of a challenge ;) they'd rather pull up a 12oz gopher on 30lb mono

Is this event only for AOTY competitors?  Because I happen to be quite fond of both fishing and chilling.  And Im always looking for a reason to come down and see the family.

No its more of a reason to chill and fish again. Why not right that is the reason behind most events...
Hope to see you there...

Actually there is nothing that I would like more than to partake in Angler of the Year!  Thats my mentality everyday I get up in the morning.  But Im affraid it is not possible for me since about 95% of my fishing is done from Nevada to Arizona, and that is clearly out of bounds per the rules.  This is also the reason for my lack of fishing reports, being that I am in another state Im not sure if you guys would be interested.  When I do come to town, either my Dad (Nakatak) or one of my brothers (KennyKayak and Surfbrewer) usually jump on that.  But I am a die hard Striper Hunter, and as a real fisherman, telling stories comes with the territory.  Would any of you be interested in reports from your neighbor states?  I am pretty much a solo true yak angler out here, so I still consider you guys my brethren.  Either way, if I can swing it, Like I said, Id love to do some fishing and chilling if possible!
