New to CCK
« on: February 05, 2017, 08:06 PM »
Hey all!

New here living in Vacaville (originally Kentucky)! Been kayak fishing for about 2 years and am a member on NCKA. I paddle a WS Tarpon 160i and a Thresher 140. I frequent the Delta up here and the lakes, but have been on the ocean crabbing every weekend of 2017 so far!

Just made an order from PRO Kayak fishing in Pismo, and had a great experience and interaction with Eric in getting a Truth reel and a couple swim baits, that's what turned me on to the site.

At any rate, been looking to get more serious this year, and branch out from my local haunts, so more information and a bigger network has got to be a good thing right?

Any who I look forward to browsing the forums and getting to some hookups!

See ya around,

Cody

Thanks guys!

Rhyak, if you ever make it up this way maybe you can show me how it's done! I've never actually largemouth fished in the slough, usually striped bass and sturgeon (haven't got a sturgeon yet :-X ).
I do know some spots that are supposedly great for bass and pan fish that I hope to try this summer not that the waters up!

Eric, got the confirmation on the reel about an hour ago! Can't wait to get home from work and spool it up! Hoping to pick up a hobie adventure island tomorrow and take the reel out to soak some bait in the sloughs on Sunday! Thanks again for that, pretty awesome that you got one! I'll have to come check out the shop next time I'm. Riding pismo!

Welcome! You should definitely make a trip down here.
