CCKF freshwater Tournament?

So I am still pretty new to this page, but I haven't Seen anything about a CCKF freshwater comp. Is there or has there ever been one? If not lets get one going....what say you?

They have been looked at but there is more red tape for freshwater tourneys and scheduling with lakes. It's doable but more effort than setting up a salt event. That's why it's usually set up as a fish n' chill type event with a side bet for whoever wants to join in that. But, there's no reason someone couldn't tackle it if they wanted to.

Agree with the above and before we knew about the red tape issue we would hold them and turn out would be pretty small honestly.

With the site growing, I could see the freshwater aspect of freshwater tournament growing a great deal.

Evan though I suck at lake fishing I would be fishing with peeps ;)
when im on the water im free lake ocean river its all good

My use of 6 oz iron jigs might be might be frowned upon in that sort of environment. ::)

I wasn't trying to be a buzz kill, just giving the history of those past efforts. I'm all for joining n if someone has the gumption to take it on. I think it would be fun even though I pretty much suck at bass fishing.

I would do a fresh water tourney gladly. Any excuse to hang out with my CCKF bros works for me.
