Bring some white rooster tails and small chrome spoons, like kastmasters to troll or cast for white bass, shad raps/crankbaits
Are good to troll or cast for spots and whites.  Normal variety of bass gear, like bed rig shaky head worms, jigs, etc.... can all be good there.  Small A rings too

It will be on Sunday 2-17 at Naci unless something changes weather wise. It is a 3 day weekend for those coming from a distance.

Should be a good time with CCKF guys and gals on the water. We have had good fishing the last 3 years for this event. Hoping for the same this year.

Where's the place to launch and fish at Nacimiento?  I have never been there.

Only access spot for the general public is around the main marina which is where we would be fishing.

Rain is in the forecast for those days, and all next week which is gonna make that lake a MUD Puddle.

We can push is back a week if the weather does not improve.

Naci. is wide open spot fishing. Lots and lots of cookie cutter 1-2lb fish. February might be a little early for the pre spawn. So winter techniques still. Jigs and spooning will catch you more fish then you could dream of. Be sure to hit hard structure and any points. fish about 20-35ft of water.

Not looking bad, putting it off a week. Let's just roll it.

See ya at the Lake Naciemiento Marina Sunday...

Gonna be cold still, probably some finesse.
