Kayak fishing and primitive camping on the beach?
« on: June 27, 2016, 05:19 PM »
Hi all,

Here's a trip that I've been daydreaming about....

- Leave one car at Point B, then drive with buddy to Point A.
- Launch from Point A with fishing gear and lightweight backpacking gear.
- Kayak fish and drift all day.
- Land at remote beach and set up camp. Cook and spend the night.
- Wake up and fish and drift all day.
- Take out at Point B, then go get car from Point A.

Where could I do something like this?

Anywhere on the North Coast.  You would have to know your schnizzle though.  I know a guy that was a guard at the Hollister Ranch.  Some guys did that & he wrote them all trespassing tickets for camping there.

PM I have some great ideas & some connections:)
