Does anyone have info as to where to launch, etc. at La Jolla?

Just right off  main beach, I launch from the far left of it. There is a drive in access right on to the sand. For the first mile of water it is protected water, so make sure you don't fish in there until you make it past the point.

Yup that's the street get off the freeway make a right and then a left and run into the beach. It's always dark when I drive in. LoL

To be honest, I still have a lot to learn before a launch like that. I'd like to do it sometime this summer, but believe it or not, I take people along with me that are even newbier than i am, so i have to plan the logistics with safety in mind.

You can Google LaJolla Kayak Rentals - the shop is 1 block up from the launch.  Its a pretty easy launch and the water is a hell of a lot warmer than here
