OK, belated report here.
I mustered for the day and met up with the crew in the AM. Most went Southeast toward Heritage ranch, but Bill and I went north east toward the dam. Trolled for 2 miles or so, and caught my first fish = an 8" largemouth = a dink! Later on I caught an even dinkier spotted bass.
Joined the others for the awards and hotdogs, which was a perfect lunch. Thanks all!
Then headed back out solo in the PM. Paddeld southeast from the marina and ended up on a shallow point about 150 yds. from shore. Dropped and anchored a bouy on it. Trolled past it a few times. Hooked up 4 spots = ALL small and a Bluegill on a 2.5cm Berkeley flicker shad in transparent clear.
