2017 Awards Fish~Chill~BBQ

Awards will be on February 18th at one of our North County Lakes.

FYI -

Buddy and I were going to try Lake San Antonio yesterday for stripers in his boat. We drove to the North Shore entrance and It was closed. went around the lake to the South Shore and it was also closed with a sign saying open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only.

We ended up at Naci all day and only saw a couple of fish caught. Lots of suspended fish between 12 and 40 feet on the meter at different spots on the main lake. Water temp between 52 and 55 degrees. Got skunked, but nice day though.

Becoming a better waterman and kayaker should be more of a target to focus on than catching fish. The fish will always be around, but will you?

Thanks for the update on the weekends only... Was gonna hit it next Wednesday but probably gonna just hit something else then.

For the BBQ, is it going to be potluck style? The lady and I are coming down from Santa Rosa, and we are fishing the KBF tournament at Comanche on Saturday so I want to figure what we need to pack.

it just says one of our north county lakes but on another thread we are talking naci just to clarify it will be at naci

Yeah unless we get reports of a Hot bite at San Antonio gonna be a Naci. Hopefully we can find some white bass to play. This heat they have to be getting fired up.
