Interesting- where did u land it
Estero bay 2015- 10th place 2- fish cat.   Estero bay - 2016 1st place - cabby cat.

Definitely looks a little off from a YT looks more like a kingfish

Teeth similar to yellowtail, but caught in the same area that kingfish frequent......?

Exactly!   A Rainbow Runner.  They are sometimes taken at Alijos Rocks.  It would take a super El Nino to bring them to the Central Coast.
