Just a quick sneak peek for now, I'm hoping to have it mostly done and post more pics tomorrow!

Sooo excited to get this thing rigged out, it's already an awesome boat but this should help a lot!

Nice man, is that the liberator mount you were talking about? Looks nice and compact.

Yeah this is the Nano, it's kind of bare bones compared to the full size. It's like $32 from Hook1 and comes with the arm and the HDPE mount for the arm. You use a screwball to mount the HDPE block to the track and your FF to the ball. It's really low profile and adjustable. I've got mine on a small 4" geartrac, if I decide I don't like the positioning I can just move it by installing another gear track somewhere else. The entire thing can be take off the boat in probably less than 30 seconds but is very secure.

Is the transducer wire just going to stay curled up under your leg in the well? It looks like it might get a bit uncomfortable.

I'm planning to use twist ties (until I can get some good reuseable zip ties) and attach it to the side right under the FF unit. I'm still fine tuning, I haven't taken it out yet. That foot peg is actually pushed all the way up in that picture. I was doing something behind it, it's normally further down. I use the "comfort" seat which is basically a boat seat, so my legs are up higher from the hip down. I think it will be fine, but everything is easily removable/adjustable.

I have seen these Velcro cable ties at Walgreens and Walmart that might do the trick.

I considered using Velcro, but they won't fit through my stick-on holders. 2 reuseable zip ties should do the trick.
-
But you could use a strong twist tie or zip ties to go through the holes to attach to the velcro straps.

That's a really good idea I hadn't considered. I'm going to play with it some more tonight, I may end up moving the transducer coil to the front ahead of the foot pegs. I really need to sit in the boat to make a decision either way. Do you think setting it down in my yard and sitting on it would hurt the boat?
-
Mad, very clean and looks great. I love my trax system, makes life much easier.

No, as long as you aren't sitting in it all day. If you do manage to flatten the bottom by leaving it on the ground set it upside down in the sun for a few hours and it should pop back out.

I live in Los Osos, what is this "Sun" you speak of? :P
In other news my Gopro came in last night, I spent all night goofing off with it. I'm probably going to do a quick video rundown of the raptor's rigging as a my first video.

Out here in the valley we have tons of it.

Here's my rigging on the raptor. Pardon my messy shop, I've been working on several different bikes and it's kind of a disaster area at the moment. This is my first gopro video, let me know what you think.

I watched your Video it was great. You might look at the bulk head wire fittings hobie uses. I love them they look like they seal well and you could use them on that ammo can I think it was plastic ammo can.

Sweet video, you have done alot to that boat already, like the cpr camera mount.
