2021 Angler of the Year
Year-long online tournament for kayak anglers of any location within California.
Top 10 Species will count towards total for the year. Your largest of each species can be changed as often as you catch a new one, as well as species, can change as well.
Once again we will be using Ianlger for logging all your catches in 2021.

Seems like there has been some changes this year. I noticed the point per inch is a lot different. Also, I saw that a few of the approved fish have open mouths. Are you going to an open mouth format this year? I just want to check, because with bass you can lose over an inch in length if you are sticking to a strict closed mouth measurement. And with the new point format that could be 20+ points lost per fish.
Anyway, I just wanted to get an update on any changes to the measurement rules.
Thanks!

No changes haven't had any rules for mouth being closed in recent years. As long as a lip is touching your good.
Yes to the scoring change. Gonna try something new this year.

Sounds good. Looking forward to a better year of fishing! Last year was pretty pathetic.
