This Last Monday a group of us headed out in what was calling for by the weather guys to be a pretty bumpy day. With 6-7 foot surf in the forecast.
The night before I sent a RyanImpreza and said lets do a side bet $20 each angler and he sent a message out to the rest of the group and collected money the next morning.
Well we arrived to swell much smaller and hardly any surf on the beach.
Once on the water we had Flat Seas and no wind and a decent bite, with as many blue rockfish that anyone would want.
Tasty little guys and can make even a slow day fun.
The day started off with Eric from ProKayakFishing.com getting a nice ling within the first hour. So there goes the side bet with all of us just trying to scratch up a larger fish.
I bounced around a little and head in to the 40 feet of water zone to fish with a couple other guys. I find Ryan killing the reds.
Could not find a red this time out, but that is fishing some days you get the hot stick some days you cant scratch a good bite.
Tossed a quick video together of some of the catches from this past Monday.
Tight Lines,
Ryan
